Surah Rahman was revealed to Muhammad in Makkah, known as the bride of the Quran. This surah is recited widely across the world. In this surah, Allah beautifully portrays His blessings on humanity and visualizes the environment of Paradises.

2. Allamal-Quraan.
3. Khalaqal Insaan.
4. Allama-hul Bayaan.
5. Ashamso wal qamaro besubhaan.
6. Wan-najmo wash-shajaro yasjodaan.
7. Was-samaaa’ rafaa’haa wa wazaa’ al-meezaan.
8. Alla tat-ghau fil meezaan.
9. Wa aaqeemul wazna bil qistey wala tukhserul meezan.
10. Wal arza waza aaha lil-anaa’am.
11. Feehaa faakehatunw-wanakhlo zaatul-akmaam.
12. Wal habbu zul-asfy warraihaaan.
13. Faabe ayyi alaa’aye rabbekuma tukazzebaa’n. 
14. Khalaqal insaana min salsaalin kal fakhaa’r.
15. Wa khalaqal jaa’anna mim-marejim minnaarin.

35. Yursalu alaikuma shuwa zum-minnaa’rinw wa nokhaasun fala tantaseraa’n.

Translation Surah Rahman.

In the name of Allah most gracious and merciful.

1. He(Allah) is the most benevolent.
2.  Who Himself taught the Quran (To the Prophet Muhammad and the people of Arab).
3.  He also created the humans.
4.  He taught them (Humans) the art of communication or expression.
5.  The sun and the moon are revolving around their orbits in an orderly manner.
6.  The plants and trees on this earth bow down before Him(Allah) in compliance.
7.  He raised the sky high, maintaining the balance.
8.  So that you may not defraud (violate) the balance.
9.  So that you do not act unjustly when weighing and do not weigh less.
10.  He is the one who created the earth for all creatures.
11.  There are fruits and pleasant date palms in it (Earth).
12.  It has grain covered with husk and fragrant blooms.
13.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
14.  He (Allah) is the one who created man from the dry clay, like a potter shaping clay.
15.  He created the Jinn from the flames of fire.
16.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
17.  He is the Lord of two easts and two wests.
18.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
19.  He is the one who released two seas that meet together.
20.  There is a barrier between them that they cannot breach.
21.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
22.  From both of them (Referring to seas), Pearl and coral are produced.
23.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
24.   The tall sails of Large ships are also under his control, which move or stand in sea-like mountains.
25.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
26.  Whoever is on the earth will perish.
27.  And your Lord’s essence will remain full of majesty and honour.
28.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
29.  Everyone present on earth or in the heavens seeks from Him, and He manifests something new every day.
30.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
31.  Soon, we shall attend to you, O both groups( Jinn and ins).
32.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
33.  O the company of Jinn and Ins, If you want to go beyond the earth and heavens, then go. You can not do this without the authority (by Allah).
34.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
35.  The flames of fire and smoke will be sent upon both of you (Jinn and ins), and you will not be able to protect yourselves. 
36.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
37.  And when the heaven will split and become rosy like burnt red oil.
38.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
39.  No one (Jinn and Ins) will be asked about their sins on that day( the day of judgment).
40.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
41.  The faintness of their faces will identify the sinners, and they will be dragged from their heads and feet.
42.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
43.  It is that Hell you used to deny (Will be said to sinners).
44.  They will move about in boiling water( In Hell).
45.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
46.  The one who fears to stand in front of Allah (On the day of judgment) will be rewarded with two paradises.
47.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (humans and Jinn) deny?
48.   They both (referring to gardens in Pradises) have thickened branches.
49.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
50.  Two springs will be flowing in them (both of the Paradises).
51.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
52.  Pairs of every fruit will be there (in both paradises).
53.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
54.  Those believers will be reclining on the bed, and the fruits of the two gardens will hang low within their reach.
55.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
56.   There will be maidens with lowered gazes, untouched by any Jinn or humans.
57.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
58.   They will be like rubies and coral ( Referring to chaste maidens).
59.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
60.  A reward of good deeds is nothing but goodness.
61.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
62.  Besides these two paradises, they will be bestowed with two more paradises.
63.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
64.  Both will be black-shaded dark green.
65.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
66.  There will be gushing springs in each of the Paradises.
67.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
68.  In both Paradises, there will be fruits, date palms, and pomegranates.
69.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
70.  Precious and beautiful Maidens will also be there (Referring to chaste Maidens).
71.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
72.  The Chaste Maidens will be veiled and confined to their tents.
73.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
74.  No one has ever touched them before, be it Humans or Jinn.
75.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
76.  The believers will be reclining on green cushions and splendid rugs.
77.  So, which of your Lord’s blessings will you (Ins and Jinn) deny?
78.  The name of your Lord (Allah) is most blessed, and He is the master of glory, bounty and greatness.

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

اَلرَّحْمٰنُۙ(۱) عَلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَؕ(۲) خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَۙ(۳) عَلَّمَهُ الْبَیَانَ(۴) اَلشَّمْسُ وَ الْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ۪(۵) وَّ النَّجْمُ وَ الشَّجَرُ یَسْجُدٰنِ(۶) وَ السَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَ وَضَعَ الْمِیْزَانَۙ(۷) اَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِی الْمِیْزَانِ(۸) وَ اَقِیْمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَ لَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِیْزَانَ(۹) وَ الْاَرْضَ وَ ضَعَهَا لِلْاَنَامِۙ(۱۰) فِیْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْاَكْمَامِۖ(۱۱)

وَ الْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَ الرَّیْحَانُۚ(۱۲) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۱۳) خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِۙ(۱۴) وَ خَلَقَ الْجَآنَّ مِنْ مَّارِجٍ مِّنْ نَّارٍۚ(۱۵) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۱۶) رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَیْنِ وَ رَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَیْنِۚ(۱۷) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۱۸) مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَیْنِ یَلْتَقِیٰنِۙ(۱۹) بَیْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا یَبْغِیٰنِۚ(۲۰) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۲۱) یَخْرُ جُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَ الْمَرْجَانُۚ(۲۲) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۲۳) وَ لَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنْشَــٴٰـتُ فِی الْبَحْرِ كَالْاَعْلَامِۚ(۲۴) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۠(۲۵) كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَیْهَا فَانٍۚۖ(۲۶) وَّ یَبْقٰى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلٰلِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِۚ(۲۷)

فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۲۸) یَسْــٴَـلُهٗ مَنْ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِؕ كُلَّ یَوْمٍ هُوَ فِیْ شَاْنٍۚ(۲۹) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۳۰) سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ اَیُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ(۳۱) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۳۲) یٰمَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ الْاِنْسِ اِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ اَنْ تَنْفُذُوْا مِنْ اَقْطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ الْاَرْضِ فَانْفُذُوْاؕ لَا تَنْفُذُوْنَ اِلَّا بِسُلْطٰنٍۚ(۳۳) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۳۴) یُرْسَلُ عَلَیْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنْ نَّارٍوَّ نُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنْتَصِرٰنِۚ(۳۵) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۳۶) فَاِذَا انْشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ(۳۷) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۳۸) فَیَوْمَىٕذٍ لَّا یُسْــٴَـلُ عَنْ ذَنْۢبِهٖۤ اِنْسٌ وَّ لَا جَآنٌّۚ(۳۹) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۴۰) یُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُوْنَ بِسِیْمٰىهُمْ فَیُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِیْ وَ الْاَقْدَامِۚ(۴۱) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۴۲) هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِیْ یُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُوْنَۘ(۴۳) یَطُوْفُوْنَ بَیْنَهَا وَ بَیْنَ حَمِیْمٍ اٰنٍۚ(۴۴) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ۠(۴۵)

وَ لِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ(۴۶) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ(۴۷) ذَوَاتَاۤ اَفْنَانٍۚ(۴۸) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۴۹) فِیْهِمَا عَیْنٰنِ تَجْرِیٰنِۚ(۵۰) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۵۱) فِیْهِمَا مِنْ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجٰنِۚ(۵۲) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۵۳) مُتَّكِـٕیْنَ عَلٰى فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآىٕنُهَا مِنْ اِسْتَبْرَقٍؕ وَ جَنَا الْجَنَّتَیْنِ دَانٍۚ(۵۴) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۵۵) فِیْهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرْفِۙ لَمْ یَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَ لَا جَآنٌّۚ(۵۶) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۵۷) كَاَنَّهُنَّ الْیَاقُوْتُ وَ الْمَرْجَانُۚ(۵۸)

فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۵۹) هَلْ جَزَآءُ الْاِحْسَانِ اِلَّا الْاِحْسَانُۚ(۶۰) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۶۱) وَ مِنْ دُوْنِهِمَا جَنَّتٰنِۚ(۶۲) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ(۶۳) مُدْهَآ مَّتٰنِۚ(۶۴) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۶۵) فِیْهِمَا عَیْنٰنِ نَضَّاخَتٰنِۚ(۶۶) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۶۷) فِیْهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّ نَخْلٌ وَّ رُمَّانٌۚ(۶۸) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۶۹)

فِیْهِنَّ خَیْرٰتٌ حِسَانٌۚ(۷۰) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۷۱) حُوْرٌ مَّقْصُوْرٰتٌ فِی الْخِیَامِۚ(۷۲) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۷۳) لَمْ یَطْمِثْهُنَّ اِنْسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَ لَا جَآنٌّۚ(۷۴) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ(۷۵) مُتَّكِـٕیْنَ عَلٰى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَّ عَبْقَرِیٍّ حِسَانٍۚ(۷۶) فَبِاَیِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ(۷۷) تَبٰرَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِی الْجَلٰلِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِ۠(۷۸)

अ ऊजु बिल्लाहि मिनश शैतानिर रजीम

बिस्मिल्लाहिर रहमानिर रहिम

अल्लाह के नाम से शुरू करता हूँ जो बहुत मेहरबान रहमत वाला हैं

1. अर रहमान

वही बेहद महेरबान खुदा है

2. अल लमल कुरआन

जिसने कुरान की तालीम दी

3. खलक़ल इंसान

उसी ने इंसान को पैदा किया

4. अल लमहुल बयान

और उसको बोलना सिखाया

5. अश शम्सु वल कमरू बिहुस्बान

सूरज और चाँद एक ख़ास हिसाब के पाबन्द हैं

6. वन नज्मु वश शजरू यस्जुदान

तारे और दरख़्त ( पेड़ ) सब सजदे में हैं

7. वस समाअ रफ़ाअहा व वदअल मीज़ान

उसी ने आसमान को बलंद किया और तराज़ू क़ायम की

8. अल्ला ततगव फिल मीज़ान

ताकि तुम तौलने में कमी बेशी न करो

9. व अक़ीमुल वज्ना बिल किस्ति वला तुख सिरुल मीज़ान

इन्साफ के साथ ठीक ठीक तौलो और तौल में कमी न करो

10. वल अरदा वदअहा लिल अनाम

और ज़मीन को उसने मख्लूक़ के लिए बनाया है

11. फ़ीहा फाकिहतुव वन नख्लु ज़ातुल अक्माम

12. वल हब्बु जुल अस्फि वर रैहान

और जिसमें भूसे वाला अनाज और ख़ुशबूदार फूल होता है

13. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

14. खलक़ल इन्सान मिन सल सालिन कल फख्खार

उसने इंसान को ठीकरे जैसी खनखनाती हुई मिट्टी से पैदा किया

15. व खलक़ल जान्ना मिम मारिजिम मिन नार

और जिन्नात को आग के शोले से पैदा फ़रमाया है

16. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

17. रब्बुल मश रिकैनि व रब्बुल मगरिबैन

वही दोनों मशरिकों और दोनों मगरिबों का भी रब है

18. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

19. मरजल बह रैनि यल तकियान

उसने दो ऐसे समंदर जारी किये, जो आपस में मिलते हैं

20. बैनहुमा बरज़खुल ला यब गियान

लेकिन उन दोनों के दरमियान एक रुकावट है कि दोनों एक दुसरे की तरफ़ बढ़ नहीं सकते

21. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

जो कुछ भी ज़मीन पर है सब फ़ना होने (मिटने) वाला है

27. व यब्का वज्हु रब्बिका जुल जलालि वल इकराम

और सिर्फ़ आप के रब की ज़ात बाक़ी रहेगी जो बड़ी इज्ज़त व करम व करम वाली होगी

28. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

29. यस अलुहू मन फिस समावाति वल अरज़ि कुल्ला यौमिन हुवा फ़ी शअन

आसमानों ज़मीन में जो लोग भी हैं, वो सब उसी से मांगते हैं हर रोज़ उस की एक शान है

फिर जब आसमान फट पड़ेगा और तेल की तिलछट की तरह गुलाबी हो जायेगा

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

39. फयौम इज़िल ला युस अलु अन ज़मबिही इन्सुव वला जान

फिर उस दिन न किसी इंसान से उस के गुनाह के बारे में पुछा जायेगा न किसी जिन से

40. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

41. युअ रफुल मुजरिमूना बिसीमाहुम फ़युअ खजु बिन नवासी वल अक़दाम

उस दिन गुनाहगार अपने चेहरे से ही पहचान लिए जायेंगे, फिर वो पेशानी के बालों और पांव से पकड़ लिए जायेंगे

42. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

43. हाज़िही जहन्नमुल लती युकज्ज़िबू बिहल मुजरिमून

यही वो जहन्नम है जिसको मुजरिम लोग झुटलाया करते थे

44. यतूफूना बैनहा व बैन हमीमिन आन

वो दोज़ख़ और खौलते हुए पानी के दरमियान चक्कर लगायेंगे

45. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

46. व लिमन खाफ़ा मक़ामा रब्बिही जन नतान

और जो अपने रब के सामने खड़े होने से डरता था उसके लिए दो जन्नते हैं

47. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

48. ज़वाता अफ्नान

दोनों बाग़ बहुत सी टहनियों वाले ( घने ) होंगे

49. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

50. फीहिमा ऐनानि तजरियान

दोनों में दो चश्मे बह रहे होंगे

51. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

52. फीहिमा मिन कुल्लि फकिहतिन ज़वजान

उन बाग़ों में हर मेवे दो दो किस्मों के होंगे

53. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

54. मुततकि ईना अला फुरुशिम बताईनुहा मिन इस्तबरक़ वजनल जन्नतैनी दान

( जन्नती लोग ) ऐसे बिस्तरों पर आराम से तकिया लगाये होंगे जिन के अस्तर दबीज़ रेशम के होंगे और दोनों बाग़ों के फ़ल (क़रीब ही) झुके हुए होंगे

55. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

56. फ़ी हिन्ना कासिरातुत तरफि लम यतमिस हुन्ना इन्सून क़ब्लहुम वला जान

उन में नीची नज़र रखने वाली हूरें होंगी, जिन को उन से पहले न किसी इंसान ने हाथ लगाया होगा न किसी जिन ने

58. क अन्न हुन्नल याकूतु वल मरजान

वो हूरें ऐसी होंगी जैसे वो याकूत और मोती हों

59. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

60. हल जज़ा उल इहसानि इल्लल इहसान

भला अहसान ( नेक अमल ) का बदला अहसान ( बेहतर अज्र ) के सिवा कुछ और भी हो सकता है

61. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

तो ( ए इंसान और जिन्नात ! ) तुम अपने रब की कौन कौन सी नेअमतों को झुटलाओगे

62. वमिन दूनिहिमा जन नतान

और उन दो बाग़ों के अलावा दो और बाग़ भी होंगे

64. मुद हाम मतान

जो दोनों गहरे सब्ज़ रंग के होंगे

65. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

66. फीहिमा ऐनानि नज्ज़ा खतान

उन दोनों बाग़ों में दो उबलते हुए चश्मे भी होंगे

67. फ़बि अय्यि आलाइ रब्बिकुमा तुकज़ जिबान

68. फीहिमा फाकिहतुव व नख्लुव वरुम मान

उन में मेवे, खजूर, और अनार होंगे

70. फिहिन्ना खैरातुन हिसान

उन में नेक सीरत ख़ूबसूरत औरतें भी होंगी

72. हूरुम मक्सूरातुन फिल खियाम

खेमों में महफूज़ गोरी रंगत वाली हूरें भी होंगी

Tafseer Surah Rahman

Surah Rahman ( Ar Rahman Surah) was revealed during the early days of Prophet Muhammad in Makkah. Its name originates from Allah’s name, the Merciful. This Surah serves as the eye-opener for the reciter, making them aware of the abundant blessings Allah has bestowed upon humanity. Read Surah Muzammil in English and Urdu.

Realizing these blessings, A person feels compelled to express gratitude to God for His benevolence.
This Surah is the only Surah (Surah Rahman) in the Quran where God directly addresses humans and Jinn. Jinn, like humans, are a creature of God and possess the free will to believe or disbelieve in Him. They are divided into two groups: believers and rebellious. The Hadith of Prophet Muhammad emphasizes the significance of Surah Rahman and its uniqueness of being addressed to both humans and Jinn: “The Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) went to the companions and recited Surah Rahman, but they were all quiet. He told them he went to the Jinn and recited it to them, and they responded. And when he would recite the verses ”And which of the favors of the Lord will you deny,” the Jinn would respond ”There is nothing among your bounties that we can deny, all praises belong to Allah”.
Surah Rahman began with the word “Ar-Rahman” (The Merciful). In the following verses, God discusses the gifts bestowed upon humanity for their sustenance. Allah is the creator who taught humans the teaching and guidance of the Holy Quran. Surah Yaseen is also most recited Surah of Holy Quran.

He is the one who is the creator of the sun and moon, setting them in their orbits, and who fashioned the trees, grew the fruits greenery, and raised the sky to its lofty heights.

God established the balance (Scale) to prevent the injustice in dealing among the People.
As mentioned, this is the only Surah ( Surah Rahman) of the Holy Quran in which Jinn and Ins (humans) are directly addressed. Allah’s gifts extend to all creatures of the universe; the blessings bestowed upon humanity and Jinn are countless.

Some of these blessings are elaborated upon in this Surah. Allah addresses humanity and Jinn through Prophet Muhammad.
Surah Rahman emphasizes the question, “So. which of the blessings of your Lord will you deny?” urging reflection on the abundant blessings bestowed upon them.

This verse has come thirty-one times in this respective Surah. The repetition serves as a clear message to express gratitude and appreciation for the blessings bestowed upon each individual.
So, let’s explore the gifts or blessings that humanity is blessed with. In verse number fourteen of Surah Rahman, it has been written that Allah has created humans from solid red clay, while the following verses elaborate that Jinn is created from the fire flames.

Allah has created two seas (Shereen and Shor), flowing side by side, with their waters unable to cross a certain barrier between them, a mystery. Within the depths of these seas lie pearls and corals. Allah enables heavy and giant ships to float on water; by his power, he can make them sink if He wills.
Everything in this world is bound to perish except Allah, who will remain eternal.

All humans seek their sustenance from Allah. In the end, Allah will hold both humans and Jinn accountable for their actions and disobedience during their lives. And Allah never does injustice.
Allah conveys His message to Muhammad: “Tell them (humans and Jinn) they can flee to any place they desire, but wherever they go, you will find God’s presence no matter which part of the world they wander.

They will confront fire flames without smoke, the heavens above them shall part, and this will be when they will not be asked for their false deeds. You, the wrongdoers, will be recognized by their faces. Angles will seize them by their forehead and the toes, consigning them to the depths of Hell. They will ask for help, but unfortunately, no one will be there to assist them. Hell will be eternal for them where they will live.
In the last verses of Surah Rahman, Allah SWT describes the reward for the righteous humans and Jinn in detail. The true achievers fear standing before Allah on the day of judgment to account for their wrongdoings.

They are the ones treading the right path, apprehensive of the Divine punishment, and, as a result, they strive earnestly to make their creator happy.
Those following the right path will be awarded two Paradises where they live forever. They will rest on the soft silk pillows made with silk and enjoy eating fruit hanging low within their reach.

Springs will be flowing near them. They will also be awarded companions known as hours. No one from humans and Jinn has ever touched them. They will be bestowed with two more paradises with dates, pomegranates and grapes. This eternal life waits for the believers. The last verse proclaims, “Blessed is the Name of your Lord, full of Majesty and Honor.”

Significance and Benefits

The Quran is stated as the final divine message from Allah. The whole Quran is full of guidance for humanity. The Quran has different chapters in the form of Surah. In each Surah, there are so many aspects that have been covered to give a guideline for humans to live a peaceful and successful life. Surah Rahman is significant, reflecting its profound impact and importance in the Quran teachings.
